when i was a teenage gothic girl one day i stumple upon this painting in an art-book and was completly overwhelmed. so much detailing and this beautiful and stronge death-angel! i was deeply impressed - so old and so gothic *g*

Now that you mention it I bet this would make a cool motif for a post-punk music video. The Smashing Pumpkins once used Aubrey Beardsley's style of drawings in one of their videos.
