I don't know the name Balla, even though your link says that he was exhibiting from 1899 on, at all the most important sites including the Salon d'Automne in Paris. The excitement of a world fair was a terrific subject to capture in paint.

If you click the Balla tag on this blog you'll see my favorite Balla painting, Dog on a Leash. He had a terrific sense of humor.
